Our Rooms
Three purpose-designed rooms, each tailored to a different developmental stage. Every space is warm, stimulating, and thoughtfully set up to bring out the best in your child.
Baby Room (0–2 years)
Our Baby Room is a warm, calm space designed to help your little one feel safe and settled from their very first day. Soft lighting, familiar lullabies, and a dedicated key person mean your baby gets the gentle one-to-one attention they need during those vital early months.

About Little Oaks
Little Oaks Nursery has been a part of the Reading community for over 15 years, providing play-based learning rooted in the Early Years Foundation Stage. We believe that children learn best when they feel safe, valued, and free to explore the world around them. Our team of qualified early years practitioners work closely with families across Caversham, Tilehurst, Woodley, and the wider Berkshire area to give every child the strongest possible start.
Safety First
Every room, every surface, every outing is risk-assessed and reviewed. Our staff are DBS checked, paediatric first aid trained, and safeguarding is embedded in everything we do. You can trust that your child is in the safest hands.
Learning Through Play
Children learn best when they are having fun. Our curriculum is rooted in the Early Years Foundation Stage, delivered through hands-on, play-based activities that build curiosity, resilience, and a lifelong love of discovery.
Every Child Matters
No two children are the same. Each child has a dedicated key person who tracks their development, celebrates their milestones, and works with you to make sure your little one feels seen, valued, and supported every single day.
Our Fees
Transparent pricing with no hidden extras. All fees include meals, snacks, nappies, and sun cream.
Government-funded hours available for eligible 2, 3, and 4 year olds. We accept 15 and 30 hour funded entitlements and can help you check your eligibility. Speak to our team for details.
